Turning the "Ordinary" into "Extraordinary"

This meetup will pertain the theme of taking an ordinary or banal object such as a fork, spoon, spatula, soap dish, etc., and making the object really interesting. Perhaps you would like to personify the object, talk to it, have it involved in a life or death situation, or just use hyperbole to illicit humor, this is your opportunity to put your own creative words into a poem that makes the ordinary EXTRAORDINARY!

We will also engage in our customary group therapy poems where we each write a line and then pass it to the next person. It's kind of like passing a "joint" except this is legal and just as fun! :-)

Hope to see new and returning members. Best,

~Mark

I liked the little coffee shop but it was just too noisy and busy. We could barely hear each other even though we sat outside away from the music. Traffic and conversations around us was too distracting and too hard to speak over.

We will most likely be sitting outside at a table since the star e rose has a folk singer who sings Sunday mornings inside. Should be fun!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
