Hi Mark and all. Before when we were all meeting, we had files where we uploaded the poetry we wrote and it was somehow connected to our "member" file at the site. I don't see that anymore and I don't see any of the poetry I wrote or submitted during any of the meetings I attended. What up with that? Debra Robillard

Greetings everybody!! It has been quite a while since I have scheduled a P&C meetup. This summer was met with family health issues and it was not a good time to focus on poetry. But things have gotten better and I want to invite all of the regulars and new people back to this meetup.

Obviously, we have entered the autumn with cooler temps, rain, changes in lifestyle with school, new jobs, new opportunities, and new reflections. For this upcoming meetup, please write (2) 4 line 20 word poems about your personal goals, professional goals, or a vivid impression of autumn. Feel free to use any metaphor or simile within the constraints of this assignment.

Looking forward to visiting with you again!!

Best wishes,

Mark

P.S. We will also continue our creative exploration in group poetry or as it may sometimes be referred "group therapy!"

Well now I got to take Rex for a run round the clock, and fire off the steam engines, and lay open the thermostats to dry out in the weather, and fly a kite and put out the cat and bathe the canary and punish the children and sell the estate and wheel Uncle Ray back into his closet. -- Thomas Merton
