Mark, here is a challenge I've been thinking of for a while. Often when I am reading a poem, one particular line will jump out at me and I start thinking of how I could use it or respond to it, so I thought that might be a good challenge for next Sunday: bring a poem you enjoy and that has a line that inspires you to write.
What do you think?
I really enjoyed Sunday's meeting. I really liked your poem from your grandmother's perspective and the idea of "raising" your dad.

Please come to the Ugly Mug for those who have RSVPed for today's event. We can look at the Southeast Grind for the next meetup. If the conditions at the Ugly Mug are too loud and "too ugly", we can go to the Southeast Grind, but let's first meet at the Ugly Mug.

See you all there!

~Mark
