Re: [poetsreadingpoems] Fw: Two Readings coming up

Hi Raindog
Always glad to post your readings, that is what the meetup is about! A little far for me on my bicycle, but I will be there in spirit!

Regarding the upcoming readings on Nov. 1st- yes they are at Veinto and they start at 6:30PM. It is put on by Hip Poetics. Since you seem so plugged into the poet scene, I assume you are aware of them, a group of poets and writers who meet at the University and do readings all over the place. Seem like a nice active group.

Anyways- hope to see you at Vientos on Monday.

Thanks Deni. The Redondo Beach one will be best to get a feel for the "Raindog Experience" while the one in Venice would be a great intro to what's out there (we only get 5 minutes each, but I know a lot of people will go over that). Where are we going on Nov. 1 again? Viento? Time?

PS have you checked my website yet?

Our very own Raindog has a couple of readings coming up (see below) . If you can make it to either of these, please do go out and see him. You won't regret it. See you there!

Hi kids

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, I'll be reading in Redondo Beach at the Coffee Cartel (1820 S. Catalina Ave. in Riviera Village) at 8 PM (open mic sign ups at 7:30 PM). I'll be reading excerpts from my new book, E / OR - Living Amongst the Mangled.

On Saturday, Nov. 6, I'll be taking part in the Marathon Reading at Beyond Baroque (681 Venice Blvd, Venice). I think I'm going on around 8:30 PM, but if you want a great cross-section of the current poetry scene, I'd plan to stay longer...for you diehards, the thing starts at 9 AM and runs until midnight!
