Dear Poles & Friends of Poland,
As you know, Ukraine is fighting for democracy, independence and territorial integrity -- against Russian-sponsored terrorism. Poland has been Ukraine's strongest supporter in this conflict. I personally have volunteered many hours helping EuroMaidan activists in Kharkiv and other Ukrainian cities. Now the Ukrainian troops are taking back their cities in the east, but they are ill-equipped and need all kinds of logistical and medical supplies. I encourage you to show support for a free Ukraine by going to their bazaar fundraiser on Sunday, July 13.

Dear Friends and Patriots of Ukraine,
A group of Washington DC activists is organizing a Yard Sale and Ukrainian Food and Souvenir Bazaar for benefit of 51-ї ОМБР (Окрема Механізована Бригада, Separate Mechanized Brigade), the largest land brigade in Ukraine. These young men are mainly from Volyn’. They were the very first who were sent by the draft offices to the East to fight. They also had a lot of volunteers who went at their own will. Soldiers of 51-ї ОМБР were completely unequipped and still are. They don’t have helmets, bulletproof vests, radios, and a lot of other very basic things a soldier must be equipped with. These boys were attacked under Volhvankha in May and suffered heavy losses. The Brigade went through rehabilitation and additional training. Now, they are back at the front line of Donbas again without proper body armor or ammunition in dire condition, but they hold their heads high and they are willing to fight and sacrifice for their and our Motherland - Ukraine. We are working with a group of volunteers in Ukraine who help to equip these brave young men and to provide them with necessary medical supplies. Here is the group’s contact in FB:
The event will take place on Sunday July 13th from 1pm until 5pm at:
St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral
15100 New Hampshire Avenue
Silver Spring, MD 20905
Many Thanks to Father Volodymyr and Congregation of the St. Andrew’s Cathedral for their Permission and Blessings of the event.
We will also have an activity table for kids where they can draw a picture for a Ukrainian soldier. If you cannot attend, but wish to make a monetary donation to the event you can do it to the fundraiser account set up for your convenience:
Note: one does not have to be Ukrainian to enjoy this Bazaar. Please bring your American friends and family with you. Enjoy food, drinks, and hunt for authentic treasure. Let’s show our young Heroes that they are not alone, we are with them in our prayers and actions.
Glory to Ukraine!!! Glory to Heroes!!!
