The Radiant Love of Maria S.C.
- a phantasmagoric play based on real events -
Written by Mimoza Ristova, directed by Naum Panovski
Tuesday, November 20th, 12:00-1:30
Pickford Theater, 3rd floor of the Madison Building

The Radiant Love of Maria S.C. is a poignant play about Maria Skłodowska-Curie’s passionate life and scientific work. It is not a documentary drama. It is a fascinating memory play, about discrimination, repression, and abuse. It is about a bright, smart, talented and passionate woman, a two-time Nobel Prize recipient who is torn apart between her scientific research, her sense of justice between what is right and wrong, her fight for civil/women’s rights, and her passionate and unrequited love. I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
