We'll be hosting our second ever movie night Friday the 27th at Beans! The lighting should be better than last time. The plan is to host it on the last Friday of the month throughout the summer, and see how it goes.
You're encouraged to arrive at 8:30 on the dot. This will give you a minute to order something, socialize and grab a seat. Some of us may show up earlier and socialize outside beforehand. The movie will start at 9 sharp, and you don't want to be one of those late people!
Please keep in mind that, while entry is free, we are being hosted in a cafe so patron's are expected to order something. They have a small beer\wine selection, regular cafe drinks, and a small but tasty food menu.
The Movie: Spirited Away (Japan)
Master animation director Hayao Miyazaki follows up on his record-breaking 1997 opus Princess Mononoke with this surreal Alice in Wonderland-like tale about a lost little girl. Starts at 9 sharp, so arrive at 8:30!
Family friendly option:
While our movie (starting at 9) may not be meant for the family, Beans will be playing a family-friendly movie before ours. This movie will start at 6:30 and will likely be Le Petit Nicolas. So if you have children, feel free to go to that one. Either way, show up at 8:30 for our event!
Please only RSVP if you are coming! There is a limited amount of space, so don't RSVP unless you plan to come!
