London Polyamory Meetup Group

Tables are reserved for us - ask at the bar for the tables for Nickie and friends if you can't find us!

This meetup group is for anyone who is interested in openly and honestly loving more than one partner - you may call yourself polyamorous or non-monogamous or any other label you prefer, but if you are interested in having, or currently have multiple romantic and/or sexual relationships where all concerned are consenting and in full knowledge, you are welcome to come along and chat with others who understand those choices.

This is NOT a dating group of singles!  If you are actively looking for a partner, that's fine, but the group is not set up for the purpose of matchmaking, and some of our members are pretty "polysaturated" (i.e. they have as many relationships as they want and are not looking for more!)  I'd hate for anyone to come along expecting that everyone there is looking for new partners and then be disappointed.  If you are looking for new partners, look out for things like Poly Speed Dating nights, and try looking online at, for example, okcupid.com.  Come along and talk to others about how they found their partners, too, if you like.  We are a friendly group and not known to bite.  ;-)

Thanks to everyone who contributed - £28 was collected, which is more than half the fees for the next six months. If I missed anyone, please feel free to contribute next month. :-) it was lovely to see us filling that corner of the room so well.

Good. An intro "whose who" near the start might have been good.

Sorry, I'm not very good at doing the intros bit, and especially when I'm distracted by having a much missed person with me. Then again, with so many people coming and going all through the evening, I'd have to be "on duty" constantly and, to be honest, I'm hopeless at remembering names anyway. I think the regulars are mostly better than me at looking after new folks, and I'm better when that certain person isn't around, too. I hope the difficulties of feeling like you needed intros were not enough to put a downer on your evening.

Don't worry if you're poly or not. It's a safe space to discuss things like communication and open-ness or just hang out and meet people. :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
