London Polyamory Group Picnic.

Since it's summer, and assuming the weather behaves, lets have a picnic. I am suggesting Lincolns Inn Fields because it isn't too crowded, is close to the site of the main meetup and has useful amenities like toilets, and a large shelter if it does decide to rain (plus plenty of covered sites to adjourn to if needed).

. UPDATE: Weather forecast is sunshine and showers, so PLEASE GATHER IN LARGE RAIN SHELTER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PARK.

Decent turnout. However it seems if we are expecting over 15 we need to get a permit from Camden.

I'm going to get there early so people have someone they recognise to come up to. I don't own any parrots, inflatable or stuffed, so I'm bringing along my Zaphod Beeblebear (two headed, three armed, white & green teddy bear).

    Update from Shaun Murrant:
The forecast is saying sunshine & showers. So congregate at the large rain shelter in the middle of the park. There is enough space to set up there. Could someone with access to the Meetup site during the day copy this message over to there please?

My initial idea for this was that we use a shady spot in the south-east corner of the park (the quarter closest to the entrance of Lincolns Inn itself). If the weather looks like we might get the odd shower then I suggest we stake out the big shelter in the middle of the park.

So are we doing Bring and Share or bring your own and we are just together?

    July 24, 2013

    • Shaun M.

Bring & share ideally. But if hauling lots of scoff and drink seems a bit daunting then just bring your own. This is mainly about meeting the other people after all.

Me and my boyfriend will hopefully come to this. We're thinking of going poly in the next few months, so would like to meet more poly people and see how it's going. Kesley and James xxx

    Did you mean 12pm not 12am ?! :)

Might be a bit warm at 12pm...

I mean Noon, not midnight. The park would be closed at midnight. And, yes, it will likely be hot. But that's why we look for a suitably shaded part of the park.

Hi guys, I am new to this group but would love to attend this event. Any advises.

Turn up. Bring food & drink. Be polite. Nothing terribly complicated.
