The "Environment" isn't just some remote wilderness. In addition to our surroundings, it is the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat. And by 'we' I mean all creatures. All living beings deserve to live and thrive in their chosen environment, be it a natural or urban landscape and community. An end to all forms of oppression that stifle both non-human and human animals is required to achieve this. This group endeavors to bring together like-minded individuals to these 'activist' causes, so we can educate and involve ourselves in bringing this about. And another goal is for this to be a calendar of events for the activist community of the Portland area.
