What a great meetup! I wasn't sure where to put my bag of mushrooms when I got home because my house is dry and drafty. I ended up buying a plastic garment bag and a skirt/blazer hanger with a hook each way, a little moistened perlite in a container in the bottom.... and voila! Instant mushroom lab! :) We're all having fun watching the mycelium grow. Thanks Dan and Dave!

This was my first meet-up and I was impressed with the Dan’s knowledge of mushroom cultivation and his ability to communicate his passion for mycology. Birthing King Oyster mycelium was informative and fun. It has been a long time since I roamed the woods for wild mushrooms. It is great to be back. Thank you Dan!

I would love to attend, I don't have and really don't want to deal with the paypal. Is there a way I can pay on arrival or some such thing?

Will you start with a mature mushroom and extract spores or will the spores be the start?

    February 15, 2013

    • Dan A.

We will be starting from mature mushroom mycelium, but will discuss in some detail the entire process from spore to mushroom.

I went on the Mushroom walk in Portland with you and chatting with your girlfriend she was going to call sometime and have us come over. Is there a way you can do another class on one of my days off???? Fell free to call me anytime at[masked] or my cell is[masked]
