July 27 · 9:00 AM
Carol Karlsen's house
Join us for the second permablitz of the season on July 27 at the home of meetup member Carol Karlsen from 9:00am - 4:30pm!
Permablitzes are day-long work parties that put permaculture design into action! Imagine more than twenty permaculture folks working side-by-side for six hours resulting in more than 180 labor hours completed in one day, great fun, conversation, and camaraderie as well as experiential learning for all!
Carol has been a meetup member for just about 6 months. She is currently taking the permaculture design course in Unity, and has worked hard to begin establishing permaculture systems on her property. Hers is a good example of a Portland neighborhood lot with all the normal "design constraints" you would expect, but also loads of opportunity thanks to permaculture design.

This is part of a series of permablitzes in and around Portland in 2013. Taking part in these events is one of the best ways to "put your name in the hat" for permablitzes at your own place in the future!
