Pizza (& Permaculture) Movie Night

The public and members of the Portland Maine Permaculture group are invited to join with members of the Allen Avenue Unitarian Universalist Church in Portland for a "Pizza and a (Permaculture) Movie Night," part of a series of awareness-raising permaculture events at the Church this season. The Church is moving forward with permaculture as a unifying theme and principle for much of its upcoming work.

For this movie night, we'll be watching a classic video set called "Global Gardener" in which permaculture co-originator Bill Mollison travels around to urban, rural, tropical and drylands locations seeing how permaculture systems are being implemented.  It's very entertaining and you get to see Bill's charisma in full flow!

5:45 Arrived for Pizza (you can throw a donation in the basket to support)

6:30 Movie Begins

8:00 Facilitated Discussion

Please bring a beverage or salad side-dish to accompany the pizza being ordered in by our hosts at the church.

This is a family-friendly movie night, with a kids area and separate kids' movie being shown down the hall!

I want to let folks know that this is a kid friendly event. The RE committee at the church is sponsoring a showing of Fern Gully in our sanctuary for the kids. Pj's, sleeping bags and bean bags are encouraged.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
