Flash Permablitz Part II

Meet at the corner of Madison and Greenleaf streets in East Bayside for the second part of a community flash permablitz. Resilience Hub is supporting the East Bayside Neighborhood Organization (EBNO) and the residents of the area to reclaim an abandoned lot.

Three weeks ago, we laid cardboard and chips on half of it to prep it for spring and will meet at 9am on Saturday morning to finish the second half! We expect that this blitz will be super-short, not more than 2 hours, especially with lots of hands.

We'll need extra tools: wheelbarrows, shovels, pitchforks, 5 gallon buckets - so if you can bring any of those let us know! And bring a friend. Always, but especially this week!

I can drop by for the first hour or so.

That same afternoon a small group of us will be working on the yard of a friend ( member of this group/ community) who is dealing with significant illness. 1-4 pm. Its in the Woodsford area, near Baxter woods. We will be doing sheet mulching, planting bushes, garlic, pruning, and perhaps a Huglkultur bed. If anyone is interested and available, give me a call 754-0635. 'Love to have more help.
    Thanks,
    Xiknawi
