Introduction

I am a soap maker and slowly-learning homesteader. I recently learned about permaculture and realized this feeling that nature should be included and utilized, not removed, from our gardens and farms actually had a name!

How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

I did a "maine permaculture" search so I could see who else was interested in this, and to see if there were others I could learn from.

What interests you about this particular group?

I really want to learn more about permaculture and agriculture in general, and I feel like the people and meetups here could really help me.

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

We are in an 'officially' rural area, but we have a small plot of land ourselves (1.1) and aren't far from the Freeport area.

Do you have any sustainable/resilient living skills that you'd be interested in sharing? Any that you'd like to learn?

I am a soap maker, and make my own laundry detergents and cleaners. I'm learning more and more about it all the time.
