3 yrs ago, John E. Carroll spoke on Pastures of Plenty: The Future of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Conservation in New England. This became my volunteer focus. During MGV course in 2010, class attended Maine Garden Day and met Lisa when she taught the Permaculture Workshop.
Local and serious about sustainable solutions to Maine's growing food security issues.
In 2011, we moved to a rental house with a yard. in two months, we converted 1/3 of our yard to edibles & "neighbor gardens".
I Love organic gardening in small spaces, making healthy eating affordable for those in compressed-housing. All you already teach!
On boards of YCMGA, York Co Ext., Kbunk Comm. Garden, Church Comm. Outreach Svcs, am a member of Partners for a Hunger-Free York Co, Seacoast Garden Club and completed the International Hunger and Agricultural Griot Course, sponsored by ONE, WFP.
On the cusp of a crucial movement... A group of eager and serious people are planning appropriately for responsible living.
