How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

What interests you about this particular group?

Meeting others interested in Permaculture and sustainable living practices. Learning, trading

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

Deeply rural

Do you have any sustainable/resilient living skills that you'd be interested in sharing? Any that you'd like to learn?

I want to build a natural grey water system and a system to bring gravity fed water to my house from our spring. I am building a root cellar attached to a sustainable off grid house with water heated by the wood stove and passive solar. I want to learn about natural bee keeping and use a solar cooker in summer. We are building 3 ponds like Sepp Holtzer does. I have not built a pond yet so I still have much to learn. We are building a food forest with terraced beds. I am learning to drive the excavator. I grew up off grid with no power and a humanure toilet. I am really getting into wild foraging. We unschool our daughters and I have experience teaching primitive skills to a group of homeschool families. We will do more in depth overnight summer camping in this nature on our farm this summer. I have been organic gardening my whole life. I have found the most important ingredient when growing food is love. I will be helping manage the children's garden at Bridgrton Community Gardens .

I am Donanne with husband Steve and Daughters Avalon(11) and Nature(8). We live in Stoneham on our 129 acre farm. Work of eARTh Farm. Sepp Holtzer is our inspiration for mountain farming. We live off grid in an Earth berm house with living roof.
