With Deborah Gideon, Herbalist
Herbs for Winter Health
Join us for a talk and hands-on medicine-making focusing on keeping healthy in the winter months. Colds, flu, coughs, ear aches, fever? We’ll cover them all with herbal suggestions for keeping healthy.
We’ll make some delicious and effective winter remedies, such as elderberry cordial, cough syrup and a stimulating immune boost cider, with recipes to take home to make remedies for you and your family.
$75.00 for a full day, 10:00 to 4:00. (A sliding scale is available; contact Gretchen Voight at firstname.lastname@example.org.)
A vegetarian soup and beverages will be provided, but potluck offerings are also welcome.
This class completes the herbal series for the year but watch for other upcoming classes soon.
