Anyone ever seen anything like this? This couple in Ontario insulate their greenhouse at night with soap bubbles, then let them dissipate in the day so the sunlight can get through. Would love to see this first hand.

Very interesting I am very curious to know how much light passes through the bubbles and if you can regulate the density of the bubbles in the layers to change the light transmission

Tyler, would be neat to see this in person, wouldn't it? They're aiming towards developing greenhouse kits so maybe someone not too far away will install one of these before too long. The idea of R-30 greenhouse walls during our long cold winter nights sounds very nice.

I had a friend in Union who was building one of these for an aquaponic system. Unfortunately, his failing health prevented him from finishing the project and he has since passed on. He got the "bubble-tech" idea from Solaroof about ten years ago, at least. I think they were working on a project in England at that time.
