    Looks like all the lycopene got left behind with the berry pomace Lisa! I usually cook the berries and process them through a food mill to get rid of the seeds, then make jam or fruit leather. Then you get all that good redness.

    Greg - that makes total sense! I was hoping that the steam extraction process would be enough to grab the goods, but alas... experimentation anyway.
