Discussing Naguib Mahfouz's Arabian Nights and Days

We'll be discussing this Nobel Prize-winning Egyptian writer's 'sequel' to Scheherazade's tales, viewed by some as a more 'political' work.

This should be a fascinating book to explore, particularly if you are already somewhat familiar with the original Arabian Nights stories.

Be aware, the book is almost out of print, so you may have to hunt around for a copy! You can order the book from Amazon here http://amzn.to/UfSoIX

Do join us for a friendly and intellectually challenging discussion at this great pub with its great atmosphere and menu.

A most delightful evening. Next meetup is full so see you 'Infinite Jest' (if I can manage it without self-harming)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
