Center for Pragmatic Buddhism - Reminder for Practice Tonight

From: Dave Howard
Sent on: Thursday, February 16, 2012 2:37 PM

Tonight we'll meet from 7-9pm at the First Unitarian Church at 5007 Waterman Blvd. After we sit, we'll be discussing Chapter 3 of Brain Rules - Wiring. The chapter describes how our brain literally changes its structure as we learn, and the ways in which training can have a positive impact on brain function. If you have the book, please review Chapter 3 before the meeting.

Here's a link to Brain Rules on Google books, where you can read a limited amount of the book each day if you don't have a copy:

Also, if you're not a member of our Meetup group, please consider joining and RSVP'ing for the meeting. This should both let us know how many people to expect and encourage new attendees, as people on Meetup will see that we have an active group. Thanks!
