Dinner Where & When: Mexican at Mary Ann's
, promptly @ 7:30 pm
Documentary Where & When: Cinema Village, 3rd Ave at 11st St @ 9:15 pm
William Kunstler represented leftist causes throughout his career as well as the 5 kids convicted for the Central Park jogger rape. (If you didn't follow the case, you'll be surprised by this too). The documentary looks fascinating and we can recommend watching the segment on Democracy Now
for a good preview to see if you want to join.
There will be no particular topic for the dinner, but you can bet on the typically engaging discussion.
You can come to either dinner, the movie or both.
- Please only RSVP yes if you are DEFINITELY coming to dinner
- Please RSVP Maybe if you cannot be certain as we will have to reserve tables at a restaurant that is not accustomed to our events. When you know you are certain for dinner, please change your RSVP to yes.
- If you only want to meet us for the movie, again RSVP maybe and let us know to look for you outside of the screen showing the documentary (i.e. inside the theatre). We don't expect the documentary to sell out, but you will be responsible for buying your own ticket.
There is no deposit for this meeting, but again, please only RSVP yes when you know for sure you are coming to dinner. Thanks and hope to see you there!
