This one hour class is designed for ALL levels, from the brand new beginner yogi to the seasoned practitioner. Give your mind and body a chance to relax, restore, and release stress, tension and toxins at the end of the day. The class will begin with a focus on breath and awareness and flow gently as a moving meditation with restful savasana pose (a pose of surrender to absorb and integrate your practice) leaving you both rested and energized.
This class is great for those who are new to yoga, recovering from injuries or trauma, seeking stress relief, restoring their bodies from a more vigorous practice, as well as those interested in exploring stillness and starting a meditation practice. Gentle yoga is truly yoga for every body...."re-set" your body in this meditative and balancing class.
This class meets weekly in the North Decatur United Methodist Church. You do NOT have to be a member of the church and the class is in no way religious! Class cards for Pranalisa Yoga ARE available AND applicable for this class. Church is conveniently located at the corner of North Decatur Road and Church Street, 1 mile from downtown Decatur and a block away from Dekalb Medical Hospital.
