How to find us: a couple blocks from Moreland Ave and Ponce, at the corner of Springdale and S. Ponce. We are in a 100 yr old large brick house with a sign: SELF DISCOVERY CENTER in front. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and on the street.
It is easy to find; however, GPS sometimes is outdated and will get you LOST!
No problem if you are late or need a mat. The center has extra mats for no charge if you need to borrow one, and latecomers are welcome to slip right into class. When the weather allows, we can go outside for class.

What? Please join us for yoga Saturday morning at 8:00am in The Self Discovery Center NEAR Decatur. We'll have a great Vinyasa Flow Yoga class taught by certified instructor Lisa Cohen, who holds certifications in hot core fusion power yoga, hot vinyasa, amd Pranakriya yoga.
Vinyasa yoga uses a sequence of breath-synchronized movements to transition between sustained postures. The name Vinyasa has a specific meaning, Nyasa denotes "to place" and vi denotes "in a special way." This is a wonderful class focused on flowing movements in conjunction with deep breathing to purify your body. You'll build strength, burn calories and fat, and reduce stress, thus lowering cortisol levels in the body.
