This is the perfect fundamental course to prepare you for every class at Precision Camera University. You will have a good understanding about reflectivity and controlling depth of field. Learn travel photography for global, national and local photo excursions. Your next step to better photography begins with learning what creates light direction and light quality along with how to create a proper exposure while photographing portraits on location, landscape and macro floral. This 2.5 hr workshop begins with a one hour lecture with World Photographic instructor Randy Kerr. Then, class breaks out into a hands-on exercise to use your new knowledge. An after class discussion and fellowship will take place at Waterloo Ice house located behind PCV at the corner of 38th and Medical Parkway. This class covers the scope of all that you enjoy photographing: on location and lifestyle portraits, landscapes, wildlife and macro floral even a touch of fashion. Topics include: - Studying the dynamics of distance and lens, - Controlling depth of field - Learning how to properly use modifiers and off-camera flash - Learning to evaluate locations and make choices on the fly - Dynamics of travel portraits and connecting with people - Visual power of vantage points found through the scouting process - Creating optimum results with your existing gear - Exploring the limitations of your gear - Light Direction Limited to 12 students.
