3 Day Photo Workshop
March 22nd-24th, 2013
T Bar M Ranch, New Braunfels

Host Hotel:
T Bar M Ranch
2549 Highway 46 West
New Braunfels, TX 78132

You do not have to stay at the host hotel, but it is really a nice place to relax. There are many places to stay nearby.

Call T Bar M Ranch and make your reservations as soon as you can.

What is PCU?

This is a three day photography workshop. You choose three out of four photographers to spend a day with. Spend the day learning and shooting from our professionals.

Some Q&A's:

  • Do you need to be a professional to attend? Not at all, we had over 100 attendees last year and many were just people wanting to learn how to take better portraits.
  • I do not know the difference between an F-Stop and a shutter speed. What is the "A", "S" and "M" modes on my camera, can I still come? Again no worries, if you really are a beginner you have to start somewhere. We encourage you to join in one of our Free 2 hour classes that we teach in our store monthly. That class will teach many basic things that you will need to know and make you more comfortable in our class.
  • After I pay for the class what else do I pay for? We pay for your lunches and dinners, breakfast is on your own. The host hotel includes a free breakfast with your stay. The only other fee is your room. Many people try to room together.
  • Do we have any free time? Not really, we keep you very busy during the class hours. You do have time before and after the classes. The ranch is a relaxing place to sit and talk after the classes.
  • Can we bring our families? Sure, last time many people brought their families, however they are not included in the classes and meals.
  • I can only come for two days. Okay, that is fine, although you will still have to pay the full fee, because you are taking up a spot. We only sell a certain amount of tickets to this event, so every spot is used. We sold out last year two weeks before the event.
  • I have a question about the event, who can I contact about it? Call Robert Backman or Gregg Burger at the store,[masked], they have been at all the PCU events and can answer all of your questions. Or email, Gregg at [masked]

A typical workshop day is:

The first part is a classroom discussion. After lunch you will begin shooting and learning from your instructor. These are hands on seminars and a great opportunity to learn from some really fabulous photographers. It is also an opportunity to get some great shots to add to your portfolio.

Hi Alejandro! Yes, the resort has many amenities: pools, a sports center, tennis courts. Also, downtown New Braunfels and Gruene are just a 10 min drive.
