Looking to learn the in's and out's of the newest Nikon cameras? This is the perfect class for you! This class is a lecture with a presentation detailing the modes and functions related to the control of two of Nikon's most popular cameras, the D3100 and the D5100. People taking this class will learn the details about how to get the most from these two cameras as related to both photo and video. This is a perfect class for beginners or those who simply wish to understand their Nikon camera more thoroughly.
Controls covered include:
Aperture and Shutter Speed
Using Live View
Basic use of flash
Playback and Image Edit functions
*We recommend students taking this class to bring a Nikon D3100 or D5100 camera if they wish to follow along. Owner's of other model cameras may sign up, but a description of their camera's settings will be less than accurate. Camera controls for aperture and shutter speed will be defined, however students interested in understanding manual exposure control are encouraged to take Intermediate Digital Photography or a similar course.
