My most recent film-based work was over a year ago for "Rift" by director LazRael Lison. I created posters, web graphics, doctored images of cast and crew, conceptualized and oversaw photo assets (taking pictures of the cast for the purpose of incorporating them into marketing collateral), and performed various similar work on a smaller scale for various other projects that Mr. Lison had.
I've been on the periphery of the filmmaking community for a very long time. I want to talk about film and find ways I can help filmmakers in their projects. I don't know if I'll ever make enough money in the industry to do it full time, but I really enjoy exploring new projects, new ideas, meeting new people, and actually feeling like I've contributed to the creation of something that has value to others.
I honestly don't know. I'd like the opportunity to find out.
Hi, I'm Erik. I have been operating on the periphery of the filmmaking world, creating posters, props, and other collateral for indie productions. Work of this type has been rare; I'd like to become more involved. I'm hoping this group will help me.
I've only been to the Friday Night Drinks events, but so far so good.
