Green Drinks: How to Recycle Easily in Hong Kong

  • Feb 6, 2013 · 7:30 PM

THIS IS NOT A PROJECT X TEAM EVENT. We are sending out this information for the benefit of our members. Please contact the organising parties for more information.
presents How to recycle easily in Hong Kong
(featuring speakers from HK Recycles)

on Wednesday, 6 February 2013
Bisous, 9F LKF Tower, 33 Wyndham Street, Central
Networking starts at 7:30 and the speakers will start at 8pm

HK Recycles is two-fold a social enterprise, that aims to dramatically help the environment through their home recycling program, while also creating employment opportunities for those who need it most. By providing employment for people who would otherwise not be employable and paying above-market wages, their hope is to equip and empower these people to overcome tough personal conditions and give them the confidence and resources needed to flourish in Hong Kong. As a service business dependent on labour, any company growth will directly result in creating new jobs and helping more marginalized people. They service both residential areas and businesses.

HK Recycles will present some quick facts about waste management, the opportunity to help Hong Kong be a greener city in an economically sustainable way, and how residents will be the most important piece of proper waste management.
