LAND: WeekNIGHT Climb @ East Kai Tak

  • August 14, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This event is open to all, from complete beginners to veterans alike.

This is a smaller wall than the outdoor ones, but still lots to climb!  It's a great place to train finger and hand strength.

We will provide you:
- Harness
- Ropes

Bring:
- Sport Shoes, ideally with thin soles as this gives you more flexibility and feel while climbing. Climbing shoes would be perfect, however if you're a beginner, come and try out the sport first before you purchase equipment.
- Snacks and Drinks
- A smile :D

*Come talk to us before buying any equipment. We can help with advice and discounts from most climbing stores in Hong Kong.

▀ Extra Activities:
We're not just about climbing here at X, after our climbs we like to go have dinner together. Hang around after the climb and join us, everyone is invited.

▀ Maximum Headcount: 25x

All, the typhoon signal is down to T3 but we have decided to cancel as the conditions outside still are not that great. See you next week at Shun Lee Tseun and stay dry!

Apologies to Kim and Charles for last minute change of plan. I failed to purchase proper climbing shoes these two days partly as of the bad weather. So I will give out my place to others for this week's climb.

For those who asked about where to get a pair of rock boots:
Here in Hong Kong Mountaineering Training Centre they are offering 50% off for Five-Ten and Boreal (not available in all sizes).
Real nice stuff, I got two pairs myself yesterday!

REMEMBER: it is the 1st Floor (take the staircase to upper floor) at Street No. 1K, not the ground floor shop
