Rhode Island Young Professionals (RIYP)
Established in 2002, the Rhode Island Young Professionals (RIYP) is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of our members and the communities in which we live, work and serve. We actively work to provide our members with exclusive networking activities, workshops, and resources that foster their personal and professional development, while at the same time developing and implementing services, programs and projects to empower and enrich Rhode Island’s communities.
RIYP is an auxiliary of the Urban League of Rhode Island (ULRI) and one of nearly 50 active National Urban League Young Professional (NULYP) chapters in cities throughout the United States.
As a group, we formally meet the first Thursday of every month for our General Body Meetings (GBMs). The GBMs are an opportunity for us to reconvene as a group, listen to some fantastic and motivational speakers, look at the past month’s events, discuss the upcoming month’s activities and to fellowship with one another.
