Welcome to the Psychedelic Society of San Francisco!

Our group is devoted to the exploration of the expansion of consciousness – and we’re fascinated and thrilled as we learn about the profound role psychedelics have played in the evolution of human consciousness over the past tens of thousands of years. It’s awesome.

We work to create safe spaces to foster discussion and community between consciousness seekers: psychologists, artists, philosophers, hippies, makers, scientists . . . I hope you can join us at a future meetup.

We discuss the work of such luminaries as Hofmann, McKenna, Pinchbeck, Abraham, Grey, Sheldrake, Leary, Grof, Lilly, the Shulgins and so much more.

Our group doesn't engage in or promote illegal activities during our Meetups. Don't join this group to get "hooked up" because you'll be removed if that's your intention. We are a mature, safe group.

While the group is new to San Francisco, the intent of our group has basically three kinds of Meetups: 1) Large group discussions w/guest speakers or with movie screenings. 2) Large parties put on by us or other groups. 3) Small groups of up to 15 for making more intimate connections with members of the group, in quiet public spaces, private homes, etc.

I'm excited about cultivating future connections with the members of this group -- consciousness explorers, psychologists, deep thinkers, artists, philosophers and more! It's a very exciting time.
