William, I got a permit for 8 for the weekend of Sept. 28th. There are 5 firm climbers right now, with a couple of other 'possibles'. I told you I would keep you posted, so here you go.

Hi William. I have my app in for 8 Whitney permits,and at this point I do have some openings. Even though a lot of people do Whitney every year, it can't be taken lightly. Johnnie may have told you of his experience last year, and I know a hiker who lost their spouse on the mountain recently. If you adequately prepare and approach the mountain with respect, it can be a life changing experience. I'll keep you posted.

Went to work right after returning on Saturday, worked 12 hrs, slept 4 on Sunday, went back to work, got off at 9:30 this morning. Somehow, just couldn't get the time to sit down and upload those photos 'til today. Gotta do it, still paying college tuition for 2.
