What topics of Psychology or Social Sciences are you most interested in?

I am a student in social sciences with a specialisation in counselling at Aust College of Applied Psychology. Completed 3 years post graduate training in organisational psychology and group dynamics with applied training in consulting and coaching. Have experimented with the use of psychotherapy in organisations and understanding unconscious processes in organisations and groups. I have been interviewed and featured in SMH, Daily Telegraph, NSW Mental Health, Dept of Education, ABC Radio and a few other portals on cyber Psychology, bullying, online behavior and co-authoring a book on the subject. I'm on the editorial board of an academic journal called Communication Technology and Human Behaviour. I am a certified trainer and assessor and regularly hold group work classes and am an executive career coach.

What prompted you to join the group?

I started it in 2004 when I first started studying Psychology!

Do you prefer events that are presentations & lectures, training and learning, experiential group exercises or social?

The group was created to discuss various social science and Psychological theories however the group has a need and desire for learning and development in some of these areas as well as critical thinking which I also enjoy doing via presentations and group exercises. I enjoy helping others learn and raise awareness of themselves and their environment

What ideally would you like to get out of this group?
