This self help group will allow you to join others in learning about PTSI/PTSD and how to manage our new lives. We promise at each meeting we will learn a new coping skill to help manage the effects of trauma. This self help group promises to move beyond actively listening to actively supporting.
Our hope is to eventually create a "trauma tag team" composed of other survivors willing to help others as they regain control of their lives. This is not a therapy group; it is a place for us to learn skills from one another, and to meet and speak with other survivors who've been there, who 'get it', and who are actively working to move beyond their trauma, forward into healthy lives.
This group is 'non-denominational': it is open to adult survivors of any gender, race, age, religion, etc...
