Let's Give Thanks (for pugs!) 2013

  • November 17, 2013 · 9:30 AM
  • Waikele Community Park

This will be the final meetup that I will be scheduling, so hope to see many there.

We'll meet in our familiar spot in Waikele park and watch the puglets play, share stories and eat amongst new and old friends.

Just a few reminders to keep our meetups fun and safe:

This is a city and co. park, so officially, no animals are
allowed, but I live in this neighborhood and we’ve been coming here for yrs
without a problem, so I ask that you respect a few “rules” to help us maintain
this location.

Restrooms & a water fountain are at the rec
center. Bring water & bowl for your pets.

No dogs in heat or unsocialized ones. Dogs
are off-leash here, but if any dogs, especially unneutered ones are
aggressive or humping alot, they will be asked to be put on-leash.
We want everyone to be able to relax and not worry about any
altercations.  It’s very rare, but it does happen.

No dog or human treats and no feeding them from your plate
since some are allergic, on special diets or this may cause food aggression-we
all know how pugs love to eat!

All food and personal items need to go onto tables since the
boys pee on everything on the ground (including some people!). There is no
place to sit and the grass is usually wet, so please bring your own chairs.

$1/person, including keiki will be collected.

Potluck - let me know what you can bring when you rsvp-pupu, main dish, side dish, salad or dessert-please limit desserts, we usually have way too many and they are thrown out. Bring your own drinks.  Paper products, trash bags, utensils are provided.

I need extra tables please-let me know if you can help.

See you then!

Aloha, Pat  C[masked]

Ooops! I didn't check my calendar beforehand. We won't be able to make it due to having to work that day. I was really looking forward to it and meeting new people. When is the next get together?

Wish I could make it since it will the last one you plan, Pat. Unfortunately, I'm committed to volunteer every Sunday. Sorry!

Our pug Momi is in heat for the first time. We'd like to breed her by her next heat. We have never bred any of our dogs before and don't know where to start the process, finding a male, etc.

Lisa, Please check at the top of our site under "More" then "Files" to learn more about the responsibilities of breeding a pug. The first question would be "Why?"

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
