The Honolulu Pug Meetup Group

A pug-loving couple started this group in 2003 in hopes of socializing with other pugs and their owners.  The first meetup was held in Kakaako Park and consisted of 2 families.  Needless to say, the word got out and we grew and grew!

We welcome pug owners and require that puppies must be vaccinated, no dogs in heat and socialized dogs that can be off-leash.

Our goal is to promote the love and well-being of our breed, foster friendships for socialization, educate the public about the responsiblities of pug ownership and ongoing care of the pug.

We vary meetup location and days, we hold potlucks and various activities throughout the year and we welcome input from members.

At the top of the page, under "More" then "Files" there are helpful tips for all pug owners, especially those considering a pug or new to the breed.

We feel blessed to have this breed in our lives and enjoy interacting with others who feel the same way!
