I have an 8-9 month old male foster pug right now at my house. He's not ready to go for a few weeks when he is neutered and healed. He's a cute little booger. Pulled from Fitzgerald-Ben Hill County Humane Society with the help of one of my friends who runs a non-pug rescue. Her rescue does have a pretty intense application and screening process though. ( this is the same rural shelter Angels Among Us pulled all the dogs from recently. I was taking donations to them and found out there was a pug, and they were nice enough to let me get him right after stray hold was up.) Worst case he asks you to pay on PayPal or via Check/MO. But I doubt it's a scam. He decided against rehoming. And now realizes that he really does want to rehome the dog. I do a lot of intake & with owner surrenders, people do this kind of thing all the time. But if the dog needs to be vetted, he needs to come off the fee because a check-up + vaccines will run you about $150+.
