Brian McNamara: Working with MongoDB Using PyMongo

MongoDB is a document-oriented, scalable, high-performance NoSQL datastore.  This talk will provide a high-level overview of using MongoDB with the Python driver PyMongo.

Specifically, we'll look at the following topics:

  1. Installing the latest versions of MongoDB and PyMongo
  2. Configuring MongoDB in a replica set
  3. Connecting to the MongoDB replica set
  4. Querying and manipulating data stored in MongoDB with PyMongo

Hoping to see you there!

Hey would like to network after the presentation and learn a little more about the other attendees. Any interest? We could probably do that over a drink at a local bar.
