Tell us about your use of Python, or (if you're a beginner), what's drawn you to Python?

After years of programming in C++, programming in Python is like going to a candy store, you're never done shopping! I love Python for its readability, powerful built-in types, and multitude of scientific libraries.

Introduction

PhD physicist, ex-researcher, currently beginner IT consultant. I use Python since 4 years, mostly for data analysis and scripting.
