Medicine and Malodas: Tales from humanitarian missions in Darfur and South Sudan
Two Global Seattle members who have lived and worked in Darfur and South Sudan will showcase their experiences during a slideshow in Belltown. Emily Sloane worked in Warrap State in 2010, shortly before South Sudan became the world's newest country. She'll talk about her experiences managing agricultural development and income generating activities projects in one of the least developed regions of the world. Paul, meanwhile, will reflect on the four months he spent in Darfur as a volunteer with the humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders.
