Meetup Members,

Correction to my last email - The Michigan Humane Society did introduce the regulations bill. My apologies, I am sending them information out as soon as it is coming in!

House Bill 5231

http://www.legislature.mi.gov/(S(2hsc0x455zdxiz45i3fubw55))/mileg.aspx?page=getObject&objectName=2011-HB-5231

Under this bill, larges scale kennels will need to comply will new regulations in regards to food, water, shelter, exercise, rest between cycles and vet care. This will also cap the kennels inventory limiting them to 50 intact dogs!

What a way to end 2011!

Pam
