I love the complexity of the human body and how physiological processes result in us 'feeling emotion'. I love how the mere presence of another human being has a physiological effect on our body. (pheromones, electromagnetic field, aura, etc.) I love hedonism... doing things that create pleasure... lots and lots of things. I love the social nature of human beings. How humans are programmed to work together, despite being so different from eachother. I love experience. I like to experience as much as I can, developing my soul. I love compassion... feeling others' pain and offering a helping hand. I love the feeling that comes from knowing you have made a difference in someone else's life. Music... I love what music does for my emotions. I love how emotions bring me to create music.
My child. Making, listening, singing or playing music. Engaging in stimulating, philosophical communication. Recreational activity, sport. Fishing, being on or in the water (sea). Academia... acquiring knowledge, discovering, researching. Socialising, talking, creating, inspiring, entertaining. Performing - Dancing, Singing, Acting... the bigger the audience, the better.
Colour. I get great pleasure from simply absorbing the colour of what is in front of me. It has such a powerful and positive influence on my mood. Light - also has a great (positive) affect on my mood, especially when it is balanced and not lacking in warm tones like when we have grey skies. Nature... there is nothing better than being down to earth without all the technology and advances that have arisn with society's development. The presence of another human being. We don't even need to be speaking, merely being in the presence of another person brings me great pleasure.
I love life and all it's ups and downs. Ups are fun, downs are soul building. I'm in pre-doctoral studies towards a PhD in psychology. My current course is in affective neuroscience, a special topic on the psychophysiology of emotion at Massey Uni.
