Birthday Cake Policy; The Best Kind

From: Tony G.

Hey kids,

Four days and counting until the birthday party next week

A few of you have expressed interest in contributing to the cake pool this year and the fine folks at the Rose and Crown would love to have you. They'll even throw in some plates and cutlery.

Some things to keep in mind:
  1. Please plan to take leftovers with you or discreetly hide them in your pint glass.
  2. Feel free to think outside the box and bring something healthy, like gummy bears.
  3. I like carrot cake.
Please email me at [address removed] if you plan on bringing something. That way I can plan ahead.

I'll be throwing in a dozen or two gluten-free lemon muffins. Not that I'm gluten intolerant -- I love all protein composites equally -- it's just that Big Star Bake House is on my way home and some of my best friends would die just looking at a cake.

Better come early in case we run out!
