Re: [pyatl] Possible job opp

Hello,

I'm for listing stuff here. ?You can disclaim it with "might be a scam" or, on the other side, "this is a really great guy I know...". ?Knowing where the job is located and whether it can be remote or not is very helpful too. ?I'm not looking for anything right now (actively). ?But, if I was, I would appreciate the effort to list things here. ?Typically, I am looking at the Python job board, djangogigs and linkedin fwiw. ?Unless something is a really great fit/opportunity, I am remote-only. ?I vote "post away!" with the caveat that we don't want the list overrun with spamming recruiters and such. ?I trust bonafide pyatl members as a filter though. ?So, that's my 2 cents.

It's really a case-by-case thing. ?Oh please don't pay me 100k+ US to move to a tropical island and do whatever I want to do :P See, outside of the SE could be okay :-)

I concur. I know I've taken many jobs that I found that were outside of my local user group's range. The general assumption seems to be that people decide where they want to live, then seek out work, but I've always gone the other way, and I tend to think most people do too*

I would be interested in jobs from NC, SC, or TN. ?However MA is just
too cold and far away. ?Jobs more local would be appropriate.
