Title: Developer

Responsibilities:
· Play a key role in the design, architecture, implementation and deployment of new products and enhancements to existing products.
· Work with the operations team to design effective and optimized deployment architecture/infrastructure.
· In the event of issues in production systems, assist in the identification and resolution of defects.
· Participate in the planning and execution of product releases.
· Play an active role in the Pictage community by consulting with user groups and community forums about features, usability, and future products.

Requirements:
· 2+ years of experience in software development
· College degree in Computer Science related discipline
· Proficiency with UNIX-like operating systems
· 2+ years of experience with the Python programming language. Experience with Java also a plus.
· A solid understanding and experience with at least one open source RDBMS.
· Experience with NGinx, SupervisorD, and Python package management beneficial
· Work experience within the photography industry beneficial




Title: Web Technology Guru

Pictage is looking for a web technologies guru to join our team of code poets in Atlanta, GA. Are you excited about HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript? Lets talk! We're looking for energetic people who like working in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

Responsibilities:
· Play a key role in the design and implementation of new products and enhancements to existing products.
· Drive the design and development of rich user interfaces, using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Participate in the planning and execution of product releases.
· Play an active role in the Pictage community by consulting with user groups and community forums about features, usability, and future products.

Requirements:
· 4+ years of experience in software development
· 4+ years of experience with object-oriented JavaScript, including expertise with one or more JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery, ExtJS, or Prototype.
· A very high level of expertise with HTML and CSS, including modern iterations of HTML and CSS (HTML5 and CSS3).
· Experience with Python also a plus, but not a requirement
· College degree in Computer Science, Design, or related discipline beneficial
· Work experience within the photography industry beneficial




Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Develops, implements, and maintains manual and automated quality assurance testing methodologies and systems to ensure the accuracy and stability of software applications. Prepares test designs based on documented requirements and interviews with Project Management and Development teams. Recommends methodologies and software for automated testing and defect tracking. Develops regression and integration tests and other validation tests and plans. Prepares queries to access databases. Searches source code as needed. Executes manual tests. Communicates application errors in a clear and concise manner. Analyzes results, draws conclusions from test results, and makes recommendations. Ensures that no defective products are moved to production.

Responsibilities:
· Applies quality principles to the software development
· Read and debug code
· Create necessary database queries to properly test application inputs and results
· Monitor, analyze, and debug application logs and stack traces
· Build and deploy software packages to testing environments
· Understanding of Tomcat, Apache, and Linux system administration
· Designs or specifies test methods for software inspection
· Designs or specifies test methods for software verification
· Designs or specifies test methods for software validation
· Recommends product improvement
· Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
· Document test procedures to ensure reproducibility and compliance with standards.
