Just trying to get started (keep fluctuating between R and Python) while struggling to load and learn appropriate toolkits.
Data Mining/analysis, natural language processing, text mining, social network analysis, graph theory, and big data tools/techniques
I am new and particularly interested in Natural Language Processing, graphing data, and social network analysis.
I thought it was well organized and a great group of people. There were times it was a little hard to see the screen in sufficient detail or to hear, but given the circumstances, the meeting went very well. The new Saturday workshops are a tremenous new development and extremely valuable for anyone interested in pursuing Python. It is valuable rsource for all from the most basic to advanced questions, and forms an important supplement, allowing more direct practice and sources than mere lectures and demonstrations in a crowded meetup.
