We have a location for April 15th!

Startup Dojo - 379 N University Ave, Provo UT

"""

The Startup Dojo has been cool enough to offer us their space for the meeting on the 15 (Tax day). Pizza and drinks (Non-Al) will be provided.

Also, with the strong support the Utah Python Group in SLC receives, we felt that it would be better to  make this a Utah Valley centric group

All are welcome, but we will be hosting the meetups south of the point. We have a strong Python community in Utah Valley and the survey expressed that a large majority are from the Provo/Orem area.

Hi All,

I have put together a quick survey to get your feedback on what you would like to see happen within the group. It will take less than two minutes to complete.

And if you know anyone who might like to join us, please send the survey to them as well.

In addition, if you would like to help plan or assist with any meetups or if there are any other comments or suggestions you might have, please let me know.

All the best,

I work at Coding Campus where we teach Python. We'd be more than happy to host this meetup so that our student can meet other Python devs.

Hey all, I am excited that Corey was able to take over leadership for this group and get an initial event going! Have fun and maybe I'll see you at a future event.

    Hey all,

I'm the organizer of the SLCPython meetup group. I'm a huge fan of the Wasatch Python Hackers group, but was unable to attend more than one meeting due to its location.
I founded the SLCPython group in order to help more northern Pythonistas get together. I believe these two groups complement each other and would be quite happy to do joined meetups every so often.
Our next meetup is this Wednesday the 5th, and we welcome all pythonistas from beginners to experienced gurus.
I'm quite happy that the Utah Python community is growing and look forward to supporting its growth.

Hi all -- thanks for the offers to host. I have been delinquent in getting this group started for real, and apart from a general lack of time, there is another reason I have been holding back: there is already a regular Python gathering in the SLC area, the SLC Python Developers group: http://www.meetup.com/Salt-Lake-City-Python-Web-Developers/ So I suggest you check them out also. If any of you feel that there is room for another Python oriented group and wants to take leadership, let me know and I will be happy to add you as an organizer.

I will be stepping down from the organizer role for this group - I don't think it's fair to leave you all hanging. So if anyone wants to pick it up, please do! Or see you at the SLC Python Developers!

I am in the Utah office 1 week per month. So 11/10, 11/11, and 11/12 are good dates for me but I do need to reserve the room in advance so let me know if this works. If not, please never hesitate to ask when I am available in the future. I can also sponsor with pizza and sodas...

I can also offer office space downtown. Our conference room will only fit ~20 with a projector.

Will these events be more up north or in between SLC and Utah County?
