    It will be in English!

pydroid is a framework installed on your computer, not on your phone. Currently, only Ubuntu is supported and tested. But yes, you can deploy apps written with pydroid to non-rooted devices.

But more about this and other details in a few minutes...

Hi All, just to be sure: is the talk in english or german?
Also would like to know if pydroid can be installed on a non-rooted smartphone or not.

    Hello Kasa!
Tomorrows talk will of course also include an instruction about how to deploy your first (python) android app to an android device. But since pydroid is still in a very early state and it is only supported on Ubuntu currently, the interesting part (and main focus) won't be on how to write a specific app, but more about how it is done at all to bring python/PySide to android and about what it means to develop for developers.
I would say, that it might be quite interesting for anybody that has some basic knowledge about in any programming language, since developping for developers is a hot topic in almost any language (e.g. ruby on rails project, etc.)
    Hope to see you tomorrow!

Hi all. I started using python in the last 2 years coming from a Java background. Loving the language so I hope to learn how to leverage more using python through these meetups.
